  Rather than using a linkage between the top and bottom wings to operate the ailerons, each of the Great Planes Ultimate Biplane ARF's four ailerons is actuated by its own servo — resulting in clean, scale-like looks; fast, dependable response; and maximum maneuvering muscle.

An ideal engine match for your Great Planes Ultimate Biplane ARF is the O.S.® 1.60 FX — available with or without muffler.   Light and strong, the airfoil-shaped, molded composite landing gear resists spreading under the model's weight. Expertly applied MonoKote® covering, a factory-painted fiberglass cowl and wheel pants contribute to spectacular looks. Includes spinner and hardware that's custon-engineered for giant-scale.   The Ultimate Biplane ARF's unique method of wing attachment requires no special tools and eliminates the chance of losing screws. Two thumbscrews are permanently installed in the top and bottom of each strut. To secure the wing panels in place, you simply insert the strut and turn its built-in thumbscrews.

.   Achieving the proper tension on the flying wires is easy, because of special fittings that mount in the horizontal and vertical stabilizers. After threading the wire through the fitting, you simply tighten a set screw to lock it in place - avoiding the difficulty of cutting wire to a length that will be tight enough, but not too tight.
