Fundango Park Flyer FAQ

I'm confused about how to wire the diode to the motor.

The positive of the diode should be hooked up to the negative on the motor. Think of the positive and negative on the motor as being backwards because of the reversal in prop direction caused by the gearbox.

What about adding a rudder?

A rudder did almost nothing except add unnecessary weight to this model. The model has no side area for the rudder to push against to move the model. We strongly recommend against this modification.

What about sub-micro/Nano servos such as CS5, and CS15?

Sub-micro servos are too small and neither fit in the model nor provide sufficient torque for the model to perform properly. We strongly recommend the Futaba S3101 as a perfect fit in this model. This is one place where weight saving efforts are not beneficial.
