 Equip your sailplane for powered launches!
- The Power Pod works well on most sailplanes up to 2 meters
- Features an outer shell molded of lightweight ABS plastic, and a inner frame made of interlocking lite ply for easy assembly
Available in two versions:
- With a Great Planes Thrustmaster 550 electric motor included
- Power Pod only, for those who prefer to install an .049 glow engine
The Power Pod is perfect in many situations:
- At flying fields where there's not enough room for a Hi-Start
- To enable easy hand-launches without having to lug around a Hi-Start
- In allowing you to progress into powered flight without having to "dedicate" your plane to electric or gas power
All hardware is included for three types of mounting:
- Rubber band mounting
- Spar mounting
- Clamp mounting
- Little modification to the sailplane itself is required for mounting
